Yeppoonie Smoothie Good Afternoon Blend

I find the evening meal the trickiest of all as I'm normally cooking for the fussy people, i.e. a tween and a teen, as well as myself. Which is why I like to whip-up something quick and healthy for them (I do actually find healthy food is quicker to prepare for some reason). But for myself I like to feel light at the end of the day so the good evening blend smoothie is great for filling me up.

The malty flavour of this blend is reminiscent of Horlicks hot malt drink I used to have as a child. And you can heat this one over the stove with oat milk for a nice warming evening treat. It feels more evening-ish heated too. And the added bonus - sweet dreams will follow!

If you prefer something other than liquid at dinner, try making a much smaller portion meal than you are used to and couple it with the good evening blend to fill you up. It will help you get used to smaller portions too - buy yourself a lovely small bowl or plate to serve your small portion out of. 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Add one heaped scoop to 200ml glass or shaker with water. Blend well, we recommend using electric blender. We recommend adding 50ml of oat or almond milk for extra creaminess. Try with warmed milk for cooler evenings.
